MEMORIAL SERVICE: SATURDAY, OCTOBER 14, 2017 2PM MILTON UNITED METHODIST CHURCH 316 DOVER MILTON ROAD MILTON, NJ 07438 973-697-3194 REPAST WILL BE HELD AT THE CHURCH IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING THE MEMORIAL SERVICE Stephen Maupin, 62 years, of Oak Ridge, NJ, passed away at home on Sunday, September 24, 2017 after suffering for many years with Alzheimer’s Disease, and a short, but hard, and well-fought battle with pancreatic cancer. He was surrounded by his loving companion Nancy Warren and his family. He was born on May 27, 1955 in Paterson, NJ to the late Dorothea (nee Schandel) and the late Charles E. Maupin. Stephen attended Glenrock Elementary and Middle School and Fairlawn High School. He worked for many years as a roofer with his brother Chuck at Meadowbrook Contracting. He was very proud of the fact that he earned his CDL license and had trucking experience as well. Stephen was predeceased by his loving parents Dorothea and Charles Maupin; his dear brothers Charles Edward Martyn and Bradley Eugene Maupin; his dear niece Nicole Gaines, and his dear nephews Bradley Edward Martyn and Gene Robert Brandes, Jr. He is survived by his beloved sisters Kathryn (Kathy) Brandes, Dorothea LaFleur, and Judy Maupin; his loving companion of 9 years Nancy Warren and her family; as well as several of his nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Stephen will best be remembered for his love of riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycles throughout the years. He also enjoyed all genres of music, gardening, going for walks, and because he was so personable, enjoyed talking with people along the way. A memorial service to celebrate Stephen’s life will take place on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at 2pm at the Milton United Methodist Church, 316 Dover-Milton Road, Milton, NJ 07438.
