She was born in Wanaque, NJ to the late Everett and Mabel (O’Cahill) Allen. Jane was the proud mother of four children; the late David Richard Kimble of Woonsocket, RI in 2006, Kimberly Kimble-Kojac (her beloved son-in-law Craig Kojac) of Newfoundland, Kathryn Kimble of Newfoundland, and was predeceased by her infant son Richard H. Kimble Jr. in 1966. Jane’s grandchildren were the joy of her life. She had three granddaughters; Morgan Lynn Kimble of Fort Walton, FL, Josie Michelle Ugliono of Newfoundland, NJ, and her previously deceased angel, Michelle Marie Kimble in 1988. She is survived by her older brother, Everett Allen (sister-in-law Deborah Allen) of Allamuchy, NJ, sister Jody Taylor of Hampton Township, and was predeceased by her sister and best friend, Constance Gurnee in 2020. She is also survived by her loving nieces and nephews; Grant Gurnee, Michele Gurnee-Van Zile, Cindy Cassidy, Lee Allen, Pamela Gerhart, and Jennifer Heim. Jane was raised in Wanaque where she attended Pompton Lakes High School. One of her first professions was as a seamstress for a men’s clothing department store. Her talents later were used to create costumes for the New Generation Dance Company where she made many close friends. Her love and support for the King Centre continued through the years and she is remembered to this day for her dedication to the performing arts. Jane sang in the choir at the Pompton Lakes Reformed Church as a child and later joined the United Methodist Church in Newfoundland where she also taught Sunday School for many years. At one time, she was an active Eastern Star member in Butler, NJ. Jane had compassion for helping others and she demonstrated this by volunteering for the West Milford First Aid Squad. She retired in 2010 from her career as a Service Center Manager, with Pathmark Supermarket. She continued to carry on her friendships from that time for the rest of her days. Jane enjoyed traveling, from the Caribbean to Europe, and road trips to the Jersey shore. She continued to follow her children to different destinations around the world and created many memorable experiences with her family throughout her life. More than anything, Jane loved spending time with her loved ones. She will be remembered by so many for her witty personality, kind heart, and her truly beautiful soul. A Memorial Service to celebrate her life will take place on Friday, June 5, 2026 at 2:00pm at the Pompton Lakes Reformed Church; 59 Hamburg Turnpike, Pompton Lakes, NJ 07442.
