He was born on April 4, 1968 in Chilton Hospital in Pequannock Twp., New Jersey to Joan (nee Fitzgerald) Joyce and the late Thomas F. Joyce. Pete, as he was affectionately known, was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. He left a void in the hearts of his family and friends and many more whose lives he touched. Remember not how his life ended but for the profound impact he had on all those who had the pleasure of knowing him. Keep Pete’s memory alive by helping others as he did. He was predeceased by his father Thomas Joyce in 2024; his brother Tommie Joyce in 1989; and his brother-in-law Brian Elliott in 2024; and Squirt, his beloved fur-baby in 2023. Pete is survived by his beloved mother Joan Joyce; his dear sister Joan Marie Elliott; the love of his life Donna Liamero; his nephew Thomas Joyce; his great nephew Liam Joyce; many aunts, uncles, and cousins here and in Ireland; countless friends; and Dugan, his beloved co-pilot and partner-in-crime. The family will receive visitors on Friday, August 1, 2025 from 3pm to 8pm at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 5635 Berkshire Valley Road, Oak Ridge, New Jersey 07438. The funeral mass will take place on Saturday, August 2, 2025 at 10 am at St. Thomas the Apostle Church. Final disposition will be private.
