Robert Nobile, 88 years of age, of Oak Ridge, New Jersey, formerly of Teaneck, NJ, passed away on Sunday, February 20, 2022. He was born on October 25, 1933 in the Harlem section of New York to the late Jean (nee Scielzo) and the late Nicola Nobile. For many years Bob was the office and warehouse manager of both Tower Crossman and Dresher Brothers. Bob will best be remembered as an avid and life-long New York Yankees fan, and enjoyed attending New York Yankees Spring Training Camp. He also enjoyed the arts; music, painting, drawing, photography, and stamp collecting. In his younger years Bob spent time outdoors mountain climbing, hiking, playing handball in Harlem, and barbequing. He had an amazing memory and was incredibly knowledgeable and loved to share whatever he knew with others. Bob was predeceased by the love of his life, his wife Lucille in 2011, his loving parents Jean Nobile in 1961, and Nicola Nobile in 1970; and his dear brothers Nicholas, Jack, and Vincent Nobile. He is survived by his devoted son Robert Nobile and his wife Sandy of Oak Ridge, New Jersey; his cherished grandchildren Danielle and Dakota Nobile; his adored great grandson Khaliel River Lee; as well as several nieces and nephews. The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 from 5pm to 9pm with a prayer service at 8:30pm at the Stickle-Soltesz Funeral Home, 187 La Rue Road, Newfoundland, NJ 07435 (for GPS use 1 Post Place).
