Lazarine, 75 years, of Hamburg, NJ, passed away peacefully at his home with his family by his side on Monday, January 29, 2018. He was born on November 13, 1942 in Paterson, NJ to the late Anita (Ricks) and the late Charles Lazarine. Stephen proudly served in the US National Guard. In 1965 Stephen married Victoria (Ferrara).They lived in Vernon, New Jersey where they raised their daughters. Upon retiring from State Farm Insurance after 45 years, they split their time between homes in Hamburg, New Jersey Myrtle Beach, south Carolina. He truly enjoyed golfing with friends at the Wallkill Valley Country Club where he was a member for many years and at Barefoot Landing in Myrtle Beach. Stephen will best be remembered for the love he had for his family. He was a de3voted husband, father, and grandfather. He found the most joy in spending endless hours with his grandchildren. His family was his whole life. Stephen is survived by his beloved wife Victoria, his loving daughters Andrea Abruzzese and her husband Will of Slate Hill, New York, and Jacqueline Nunn and her husband Michael of Andover, New Jersey; his cherished grandchildren Nicholas, Emily, Victoria, and Mia Abruzzese, and Mackenzie and Gunner Nunn; as well as several nieces and nephews. The family will receive visitors on Friday, February 2, 2018 from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm at the Stickle-Soltesz Funeral Home, 187 La Rue Road, Newfoundland, NJ 07435 (GPS use 1 Post Place). A funeral mass will take place on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 10:30am at St. Joseph RC Church, 454 Germantown Road, West Milford, NJ 07480. Final disposition will be private.
