ANGELO CALLIONI Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Angelo Callioni, 74, of West Milford, passed away peacefully at home with his wife by his side on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 after a lengthy battle with emphysema and heart disease. Angelo was born on June 27, 1940 in Bergamo, Italy to Angie (Sonzogni) and Davide Callioni. He married Ofelia (Acosta) in 1964. He was a lifelong resident of New Jersey, where he worked for over 40 years as a lithographer. He was a hard working, honest soul. He raised three sons and he will always be remembered lovingly by his family for his kindness, honesty, and special brand of humor. Angelo was predeceased by his brothers Remigio and Arnaldo Callioni. He is survived by his beloved wife Ofelia of 50 years; his loving sons Gary Callioni and his wife Kathy, Alan Callioni and his wife Susan, and Ray Callioni and his wife Heather; his cherished grandchildren Brogan Angelina, Brooklyn Capri, and Michael Cruise Callioni and Alexandra Faith Callioni; his dear brothers Vincenzo Callioni and Giantonio Callioni and his wife Lina; his dear sisters Loredana DeBruno and her husband Antonio, and Mariangela Lutz and her husband Peter, as well as several nieces and nephews. The family will receive visitors on Sunday, January 18, 2015 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at the Stickle-Soltesz Funeral Home, 187 LaRue Road, Newfoundland, NJ 07435. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, January 19, 2015 at 10:30am at St. Joseph RC Church, 454 Germantown Road, West Milford, NJ 07480. Entombment will follow at Fairlawn Memorial Cemetery and Mausoleum, Fairlawn, NJ. Memorial donations may be made in his name to American Heart Association, 7272 Greenville Ave, Dallas, TX 75231-9986.
