EDWARD AMERSPEK Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Edward S. Amerspek, 79, of Oak Ridge, passed away on Friday, April 1, 2011 at Chilton Memorial Hospital with his family by his side. Mr. Amerspek was born in Passaic, NJ to Martha (Roedel) Amerspek and Simon Amerspek. He married Lila (Ugrovics) in 1949 and this year they would have celebrated 62 years together.He recently retired from the Morris County Park Commission serving 20+ years. Mr. Amerspek truly enjoyed the outdoors, including hunting, fishing, and camping. He devoted his life to his family and will best be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. Mr. Amerspek is survived by his loving wife Lila of Oak Ridge; his dear daughters Linda Schilling and her husband Gary of Oak Ridge and Judith Riefler and her husband William of Hackettstown; and his dear son Lee Amerspek and his wife Christine of Columbia, NJ; his adored grandchildren Stephanie, Michele, Jennifer, Stephen, Melissa and Evan; and his cherished great grandchildren Amber, Gianna, Olivia and Luke. Mr. Amerspek also leaves behind his sister Eleanor Fiori of Geneva, NY and his brother Fred Amerspek of Vernon, NJ, as well as several nieces and nephews.
