GLORIA ROACH

July 11, 1940 - September 25, 2014

Gloria J. Roach, 74, of Lake Stockholm, NJ, passed away at her home on Thursday, September 25, 2014, with her family by her side. Gloria was born in Paterson, NJ on July 11, 1940 and was raised by Dorothy (Derbyshire) and Walter Wojcichowski. Gloria married Joseph W. Roach in 1970 and resided in Lincoln Park, NJ, later moving to Lake Stockholm, NJ where they raised their four children. Gloria worked in real estate as an agent with Blue Realtor, as well as an administrator at Marrotta. For nine years Gloria was an administrator at Picattiny Arsenal, and was also Court Clerk for Mayor Brown at the Jefferson Township Municipal Building. Gloria enjoyed playing Bingo with her friends as well as many card games. Gloria will best be remembered for her high spirit and ability to light up a room. She was predeceased by her beloved mother in 2011 and her dear father in 1984. Gloria is survived by her loving husband Joseph, her four cherished daughters: Diane Hanson, Donna Brennan, Michele Moran, and Joanne Roach; her adored grandchildren Courtney and Casey Hanson, Nicole and Nick Brennan, and Ean, Cailin, and Shani Moran; her loving sister Linda Blanchard and her husband Bruce and her brother Philip Agnello; and her niece Dawn Agnello, and her dear nephews Bruce, Brian, and Kevin Blanchard and Philip Agnello, Jr. The family will receive visitors on Friday, September 26, 2014 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at the Stickle-Soltesz Funeral Home, 187 LaRue Road, Newfoundland, NJ 07435 (GPS use 1 Post Place). The funeral service will take place on Saturday, September 27, 2014 at 10am at the funeral home. The interment will follow at The Oak Ridge Presbyterian Cemetery, Oak Ridge Road, Oak Ridge, NJ.
