JOHN'S CEMETERY MIDDLE VILLAGE, NEW YORK Gloria D, Santacroce, 90 years of age, of Oak Ridge, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, March 8, 2022. She was born on July 5, 1931 in Queens, New York to the late Teresa (nee Spadafora) and the late Angelo Dodaro. Gloria married Stephen V. Santacroce in 1951 and resided in Maspeth, NY then retiring to Golden Lakes Village in West Palm Beah, Florida from 1996 to 2016 where she enjoyed an active lifestyle. For five years Gloria was a secretary at Bell Labs in New York City. Gloria will best be remembered for many wonderful things: her love of cooking and spending time with her large Italian family; crocheting over 100 blankets for her family and friends; she loved to sing and dance and was a loyal viewer of Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Stephen in 2013, her dear brothers Delmazio, Massimo, Louis, and Frank Dodaro, and her loving sons-in-law Kenneth Fralick in 1996 and Joseph Grasso in 2020. Gloria is survived by her devoted children Susan Grasso, Linda Malloy and her husband Daniel, Marie Ottinger and her husband Raymond, Gloria Genovese and her husband Anthony, and Stephen Santacroce, Jr. and his wife Diane; her cherished grandchildren Kenneth Fralick, Debra Rios, Michael Fralick, Stephen Santacroce, III, Nicole Genovese-Sniffen, Briana Fizzuoglio, Daniel Malloy, Jr., Christine Malloy, and Anthony Genovese; her adored great grandchildren Dean, Mason, Autumn, Colton, and Nico Fralick; Christian, Xavier, Jacob, and Sebastian Rios; Adrianna, Nina, and Thomas Santacroce; Louis Fizzuoglio; Michael McManaway; and Mason Churchill; as well as many dear nieces and nephews. The family will receive visitors on Sunday, March 13, 2022 from 3pm to 7pm at the Stickle-Soltesz Funeral Home, 187 La Rue Road, Newfoundland, NJ 07435 (for GPS use 1 Post Place). A prayer service will take place on Monday, March 14, 2022 at 10am at the funeral home followed by the mausoleum entombment at St. John’s Cemetery in Middle Village, New York.
