She was born on May 1, 1967 in Westwood, New Jersey to the late Jean (nee Sullivan) and the late Myron Kondyra. She grew up in Paramus, NJ. Kerry married Kevin O’Shea in 1990 and resided in South Hackensack, New Jersey, and moved in 1994 to Oak Ridge, New Jersey, where they raised their family. They cherished 32 years of a loving and devoted marriage together. She will best be remembered for her love of disco music, desserts, and animals- especially dogs! She could be quite competitive- especially when playing games like Trouble and UNO. She liked camping at Otter Lake Campground with her family. She was a devoted mother and supported her children in all their activities. Kerry enjoyed helping with her daughters’ Girl Scout Troops and being a classroom mom when her children were in school. She also enjoyed attending sports games for her son, Timothy, who was an avid baseball and basketball player. Kerry is also best remembered for her homemade bean dip, and her love to gossip on the phone. As her husband states, “telephone-telefax-telekerry.” That love of talking and staying up to date with family and friends shows that she loved being involved in all family activities and she was always proud of their accomplishments- in both her children, husband, nieces, nephews, siblings, and extended family members. Kerry was always there to help people through her nurturing and caring personality. She enjoyed getting family and friends together by hosting jewelry and makeup parties and random barbeques. She is loved by many and is going to be greatly missed! She was predeceased by her loving parents: Jean Kondyra in 2019 and Myron Kondyra in 2018. Kerry is survived by her beloved husband Kevin, her cherished children Timothy O’Shea and his fiancé Jaclyn Draney, Julia O’Shea, and Elizabeth O’Shea; her dear siblings Kenneth Kondyra and his wife Debbie, Kathy Lannigan and her husband Bill, and Karen Duckworth and her husband Dave; her sister-in-law Kelly Fontana and her husband John; her aunts and uncles, cousins, and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive visitors on Saturday, April 23, 2022 from 4pm to 8pm with a prayer service at 8pm at the Stickle-Soltesz Funeral Home, 187 La Rue Road, Newfoundland, New Jersey 07435 (for GPS use 1 Post Pace).
