Mallie, 60 years of age, of Oak Ridge, NJ., passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 after a courageous battle with breast cancer. BJ was born on January 10, 1962 in Yuma, Arizona, the second of four siblings, to the late Betty Jean (nee Gann) Clay and the late James E. Mallie. She attended Crossroads High School in Crossroads, Texas. BJ and Judith had a commitment ceremony in 1992, and in 2012 they were married and continued to reside in Oak Ridge, NJ. For the last five years BJ was the Home Fashions Supervisor at the Christmas Tree Stores in Rockaway, New Jersey. BJ considered the earth as her church, and deeply believed in God and nature where she enjoyed planting her spring vegetables. Spend time outdoors both at the beach and the mountains were her favorite pastimes; hiking and taking day trips to explore and have fun. She loved life and truly lived in the moment. BJ is survived by her beloved wife Judith; nieces and nephews; and her cherished furry babies: Molly, Abby, Rocky, Angel, Sami, and Hope. A memorial visitation will take place on Sunday, March 20, 2022 from 1pm to 3pm with Moments of Reflection at 3pm at the Stickle-Soltesz Funeral Home, 187 La Rue Road, Newfoundland, NJ 07435 (for GPS use 1 Post Place).
