He was born on February 8, 1932 in Paterson, NJ to the late Elsie (Miller) and August Kreil. Robert proudly served in the US Army during the Korean War. He married Lois Cox in 1955 and resided in Hawthorne, NJ later moving to Oak Ridge, NJ in 1961 where they raised their family. For many years Robert was a machinist at the Continental Can Company in Paterson, NJ. He was predeceased by his loving son Richard Kreil in 2010, his beloved wife Lois in 2016, his dear sisters Evelyn Gruenberg and Myrtle Barr; and both of his dear brothers Donald and Allen Kreil in 2018. Robert is survived by his loving children Barbara Snyder and her companion Greg Austin, Melanie Sisco and her fiancé Craig Bond, and Robert H. Kreil, Jr and his girlfriend Denise Cofrancisco; his cherished grandchildren AubriAna Wight of Washington State, and Kelly Ann and James F. Zabriskie; his adored great grandchildren Austin, Chasity, Phoebe, Loki, and Talon as well as loving many nieces and nephews. The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 from 3pm to 7pm with Moments of Reflection at 6:30pm during the last half hour of the visitation.
