THOMAS THE APOSTLE CEMETERY ADJACENT O THE CHURCH Cresencia “Chris” B. Osborne, 101 years, of Oak Ridge, NJ passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Friday, August 18, 2023. She was born on June 15, 1922 in the Philippines and where she was raised, one of ten children; one of which inspired her to become a teacher. Chris met Arthur J. Osborne, the love of her life, married in 1946 and moved to America where she pursued her teaching career. Her first teaching job was in Newark, NJ before moving to Oak Ridge, NJ where she taught for many years in the Jefferson Township Public Schools. She was a member of the Golden Age Club of Milton, where she was the secretary of the club and later became president. Chris was predeceased by her husband Arthur in 1989 and seven of her siblings. She is survived by her daughter Linda Osborne, her sister Catalina Dietschy, her brother Greg Bunda, and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, August 22, 2023 from 3pm to 7pm at the Stickle-Soltesz Funeral Home, 187 La Rue Road, Newfoundland, NJ 07435 (for GPS use 1 Post Place). The funeral mass will take place on Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at 10am at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 5635 Berkshire Valley Road, Oak Ridge, NJ 07438. Interment will follow at St. Thomas the Apostle Cemetery, adjacent to the church.
