THOMAS THE APOSTLE CHURCH 5635 BERKSHIRE VALLEY ROAD OAK RIDGE, NJ 07438 Mario Provenzano, age 90, passed away on Tuesday February 20, 2024 at the Paramus Veterans Memorial Home in Paramus, NJ. Born July 28, 1933 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Catherine and Frank Provenzano. Mario attended Memorial High School in West New York, NJ and proudly served in the US Air Force during the Korean War. He met his wife June while stationed in Miles City, Montana. Upon returning to NJ he worked for the New York / Penn Central Railroad for 40 years and had his own TV/Radio repair shop. He was an avid fisherman and sports fan, especially the NY Yankees. He was predeceased by his wife June 2018 his son Michael Provenzano 1990 and son-in-law Frank Feola 2009. Mario is survived by his daughters, Karen Feola and Karla Drumm and her husband, Patrick; his son Mark Provenzano; his sister Jean DeMichele and husband Patrick; his four grandsons Matthew Feola, Ryan Drumm and his wife Jennifer, Robert Drumm and his wife Diana, and Erik Drumm and his wife Lauren; his two granddaughters Leslie Schneibel and her husband David, and Michele Feola; and his two great-granddaughters Elowen Drumm and Aubrey Schneibel. A memorial visitation will take place on Friday: March 8, 2024 from 6pm to 8pm with a memorial prayer service at 8pm at the Stickle-Soltesz Funeral Home, 187 La Rue Road, Newfoundland, NJ 07435. The memorial funeral mass will be held Saturday, March 9,2024 at 10:30 at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 5635 Berkshire Valley Road, Oak Ridge, NJ 07438.
